Pol Orpinell Freixa ( Barcelona , 1981 ) es un director de fotografía catalán. Estudió Cine en la ESCAC. Seleccionado en el Berlinale Talent Campus. Miembro de la Asociacion Española de Cinematografía desde el año 2018 . Ha terminado hace poco la serie para tv el thriller “El mal invisble” que se ha estrenado en el festival de cine de Sitges 2024, producida por Media Pro Studio protagonizada por David Verdaguer (Goya 2023) y Angela Cervantes (Goya 2023). Anteriormente sus proyectos de ficción han sido la serie “Smiley” para Netflix (nominada a los premios Glaad), o la película “Ramona” (ganadora mejor guion en el festival internacional de cine de Roma, y estrenada en sección oficial en Karlovy Vary ) , o algunos capitulos de la serie “Dias Mejores” para Amazon Prime, o la serie “Ser o No Ser” para RTVE (nominada a los premios Glaad y estrenada en el festival de cine de Málaga). La última película de Marc Crehuet (nominado Goya direccion novel 2016) “Espejo, Espejo”… Tambien trabajo en la fotografía del documental del escultor y artista Jaume Plensa “Can you hear me?” nominado a mejor documental en los premios Gaudí. 
Y en publicidad rueda desde hace muchos años por todo el mundo, con clientes, como Orange, Coca Cola, Braun, Mercedes, Toyota, etc…
Apasionado desde siempre por el arte, la belleza , la fotografía, la dramaturgia, el ser humano y su narrativa audiovisual . Le encanta caminar junto al director y la producción para llevar la historia al imaginario visual al que pertenece, con sensibilidad e ilusión.

He recently finished some episodes for Prime Video  called Day One . Marc Crehuet’s latest film (nominated for a Goya for Best New Director in 2016), “Mirror, Mirror”, is also her photography work on the documentary “Can You Hear Me?” by sculptor and artist Jaume Plensa, nominated for Best Documentary at the Gaudí Awards.
